The town of Ezcaray slots into the Oja valley in the Sierra de la Demanda, on the banks of the River Oja. The textile tradition in Ezcaray dates back to the 15th century. The nationally and internationally recognised “Mantas de Ezcaray” blanket Factory is a must-visit. This Factory, dating back to 1930, offers hand-crafted blankets, cushions, shawls and scarves, all made from mohair.
